2Today, I'm going to show you how to change the password on your Coinbase account to keep your account safe and sound.
Coinbase is a digital asset exchange company headquartered in San Francisco, California. The company operates exchanges of Bitcoin, Ethereum, and other digital assets with fiat currencies in 32 countries, and bitcoin transactions and storage in 190 countries worldwide so far.
Let's get started:
1. Go to your web browser and type www.coinbase.com on the address bar
2. Login Coinbase account and go to the profile icon top right of the page
3. Click Settings on the menu(You’ll see the Change password section along with other features along with Preference, Security, Activity, etc)
4. Click on Change Password button to change the password and type the old password which you are using currently
5. Enter the new password which you want to change (double-check your password by clicking the eye icon on the side). Re-type the new password which you have just created in Confirm new password box
6. You need to enter 2 step verification code, Code will be sent to your mobile phone during the process. Enter the given Code
7. Confirm button will activate, Click on Confirm button
Finally, you’ll be able to change your Coinbase password easily whenever you feel concerned about your password security from others.
