Open Snapchat.
Tap on the chat icon (speech bubble) at the bottom of the screen to access your chats.
Locate the person whose name you want to change. Tap on their chat to open the conversation.
Once you're in the conversation, tap on the person's Bitmoji (or their profile picture) at the top of the screen.
This will take you to their profile page. Tap on the three dots (menu) in the upper right corner.
Select “Edit Name” from the drop-down menu.
Type in the new name you want to assign to them.
Tap "Save" when you're finished.
