Today I show you how to quickly and easily change the battery on your SNES game & retain any saved game data.
You will need the proper security tool to open the cart (easily found on ebay), as well as a solder gun, some solder, and a replacement battery (also easily found on ebay, CR2032 with tabs). It's easiest to use an old battery from an existing cart as your lifeline, so long as it's not DEAD; you will need at least 3 volts to keep the data in the memory alive. Otherwise you may have to scruff up any lifeline battery to allow some solder to stick ;)
