In Nancy Drew: Shadow at the Water’s Edge, Nancy must investigate by evening or late night. To check the time, simply click on your cell phone.

To change the clock, you must first be in your room (room 24 on the second level of the Ryokan). Bring out your phone and click on the “Menu” button. Then click “Clock” and use the up and down arrows to set your time. Lastly, hit “Set Alarm.”

Your evening time to investigate and talk to people is from 7:00pm to 12:59am. At 1:00am the other characters will be away from their posts and you can investigate their spaces.
