To change the resolution on your Steam Deck in Desktop Mode, follow these steps:

Switch to Desktop Mode:
Press and hold the power button.
Select “Switch to Desktop Mode” from the menu.
Open Display Settings:
Click on the “Application Launcher” (the Steam Deck icon) in the bottom-left corner.

Navigate to “System Settings” and then “Display Configuration.”
Adjust Resolution:

In the Display Configuration window, you can see the connected displays.
Select the display you want to change the resolution for.
Use the drop-down menu to choose your desired resolution.
Click “Apply” to save the changes.
Confirm Changes:

A prompt will appear asking if you want to keep the new resolution. Confirm to apply the changes.

If you encounter any issues, you might need to adjust the orientation or scaling settings as well
