Jill Thiry is the Founder and Chief Energizing Officer of Club Change.

For more than 20 years, she has conducted annual goal setting with her siblings and professionally leads groups to achieve change in their lives by identifying and then doing whatever it is they aspire to do, in a kind, achievable, loving way.

Her process involves joining a “club” where you can choose to move through change with an open heart and open mind.

Here’s how it works: virtually through Zoom, she guides the club through the process of setting an intention, establishing practices, noticing what is blocking you from making your change and ultimately establishing your intention as a new habit in your life. She also offers chanting and meditation sessions on Facebook at @ClubChangeNow.

Joining a club costs $89 and new clubs start every month. You can learn more by visiting her website at JillThiry.com.

When Jill is not leading Clubs or chants she is teaching or doing guest services and fitness work at Rancho La Puerta in Tecate, Mexico.

Longer Bio for show notes
After receiving her BA at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, Jill followed her teaching and fitness passion as a recreation director at the local YWCA. She led aerobic dance classes before its massive popularity, attended yoga classes before its renaissance, and started a travel group for singles! She then pursued travel: two years teaching skiing and kayaking in Europe and then trekking for months through southeast Asia before her return to the United States. That initiated years of exploration of different styles and philosophies of spiritual practice.

Upon her return to the US via San Francisco she earned her MBA from University of San Francisco and fortunately landed in the publishing industry. Years of successful growth ensued, managing and developing multiple international magazine brands in print, online and events. Then 9/11 hit, the economy was stalled, and her marriage was headed in the wrong direction. Jill was ready to explore her old passions with an open mind and heart. She began saying “yes” to new things, and “no” to some things. She started singing with a local threshold choir, did a teacher-training in yoga which included chanting, created a local hiking group, and started working on her own independently. Her projects varied from developing new revenue ideas to community building projects in fitness, HR, education, research, consumer publishing, and healthcare. At this critical time in 2002 Jill also began her annual visits to Rancho La Puerta, LLC, a place that helped nourish her courage and confidence in exploring new yes’s and new no’s in her life.

In 2013, Jill moved to Tecate, Mexico to work at “the Ranch” full time.

She works in guest services and fitness teaching chant, swimming, hiking pole use, created her “Set Your Ranch Intention” class, and modified an existing class for “How to Live Your Ranch Experience” at home. These “book end” classes, as she refers to the arrival and departure at the ranch, are the direct result of a lifetime of exploring the Ranch Mantra of “Siempre Mejor." We can “always better” do, act, learn, be. She has done annual goal setting with her siblings for over 20 years now, and still does. Her upcoming book “Club Change” will help groups all over the country create a safe place for share the change journey with friends or family. She leads clubs, groups, and sessions around identifying and then doing whatever it is you aspire to do, in a kind, achievable, loving way! This is a time when change is ever present around us. She and you, together, can to choose to move through change with an open heart, and open mind. Join her Club in some way soon! Chanting will enhance your breath, your meditations, and your heart; Intention Setting will change your heart, your mind and your actions; Club Change will put these intentions and affirmations into practice in your daily life, your daily moments
