In this video, you will quickly learn how to get Graphics Processing Unit (GPU) specification (spec) information using three nvidia-smi commands. The NVIDIA System Management Interface also known as nvidia-smi (NVSMI) is a command line terminal tool used to manage and monitor NVIDIA GPU devices.

System Management Interface (SMI) https://developer.nvidia.com/system-management-interface
nvidia-smi documentation https://docs.nvidia.com/deploy/nvidia-smi/index.html

Commands:
nvidia-smi -L
nvidia-smi
nvidia-smi -q

-L stands for list and will least each GPU in the system along with their UUIDs

nvidia-smi without any option at the end of the command will present a small tabulated output with some GPU information

-q stands for query and will give you a large amount of info about your GPU(s)

For usage information type the following command:
nvidia-smi -h

For the nvidia-smi manual type this command:
man nvidia-smi
