Plug the black measure wire in to the COM port and the ret one in to the V"OMEGA"mA port (above of the COM port).
Set the DCV measuring range to 20.
hold the spike of the black wire on the - pole from the battery and the spike of the red one on the + pole from the battery.
Now u can see the voltage on the screen.
