[Synopsis]

In this video, I show you my two workstations where I have 4 computers connected to one monitor, keyboard, mouse, game pad, and speakers. Before this, I was using a 2 port VGA KVM switch, and I was using a 2 port DVI KVM as well. In more recent times, I transitioned to using a 3 port HDMI switch with a 4 port USB switch. This method enables me to connect more than two computers to a single monitor, keyboard, and mouse. It would be a mess to have 4 keyboards, 4 mice, and 4 monitors in one desk. This way, I can switch between 4 devices having less cables.

On my television, I have multiple devices connected to it, like a video game console, like a Playstation 4, retro video game consoles, Blu-ray player, and VHS player. This can be applied to a computer monitor if you have the right switches.

Here is what you need.
1. 4 port USB switch
2. 3 port HDMI switch
3. 3 HDMI cables
4. VGA cable if you want to hook up a vintage computer
5. 3.5mm stereo cable if you wish to connect a vintage computer.
6. Speaker with a 3.5mm cable.

The ports on your monitor can be used to connect other video devices, like 15 pin VGA, and DVI cables as well. Having access to multiple devices is useful for those who don't have a lot of space.
