Learn how to configure your PC to allow downloads and updates to continue while in sleep mode, so you can get back to your tasks without interruptions.
Steps to Follow:
Open Settings
Press Win + I to open Settings on your PC.
Navigate to Power & Battery
In the left-hand menu, click on System, then Power & Battery.
Adjust Sleep Settings
Under the Power section, click on Screen and sleep.
Modify Sleep Settings
Under Sleep, ensure that your computer is set to Never go into sleep mode while plugged in or on battery (depending on your preference).
Enable Wake Timers
Scroll down and click on Additional power settings under Related settings.
In the new window, select Change plan settings for your power plan.
Then, click Change advanced power settings.
Scroll to Sleep - Allow wake timers and set it to Enable for both plugged in and battery modes.
Start a download or update, then manually put your PC to sleep. Check if the download or update continues in sleep mode
