SWITCH ERROR:
If you are doing a data transfer and get the Error Code: 2016-0247, then this is the tutorial for you!
"Unable to access microSD card.
Please turn off the console and reinsert the microSD card.
You can turn the power off from Power Options in the Power Menu (hold the POWER Button for three seconds)."

WHAT YOU NEED:
- your old microSD card (with all your save files on it)
- your new microSD card (formatted)
- a computer
- a microSD card adapter for your computer
- your Nintendo Switch

CAN’T TAKE A SCREEN CAPTURE?
If you can't take any SCREENSHOTS on your Switch after doing a file transfer, refer to the last part of this video (4:58).

CAPTURED SCREENSHOTS AND VIDEO DID NOT TRANSFER
Workaround: You can get around this issue in the Switch’s settings. Just transfer your captures from the original microSD to your system memory. Then with the new microSD in transfer your captures to that.
*If you have too many captures for the workaround then you will have to follow the steps that Glaciartest recorded. These steps can be found in the replies of the Pinned Comment (at the top of the comments).

REPLACE FILES NOT FOLDERS
When you are copying files, as a rule you skip the folders (meaning do not replace). But you can replace files. For example: In contents you replace the two files “private” and “private1.”

COPY DIGITAL GAMES
The registered folder is the folder with your downloaded games in it (each game is in its own folder with a unique name made of zeroes and letters). Now move those folders from registered into the new registered folder.

COPY SAVE FILES
In your ”save“ folder replace the files that are already in there.
