A definitive guide on how counter pick for and against Slardar
Slardar is all about physical damage and armour reduction - so low HP heroes like Phoenix, Drow and Sniper struggle, as invisible heroes because of the true site from amplify damage - sorry sand king, Clinkz, and Templar Assassin.
However, Slardar's strength is also his weakness - if he can't hit you then you will kick his ass. Physical damage resist heroes like Pugna, Omni Knight, and abaddon are all problems. Evasion is also a big problem so windranger, troll, and PA can kick his ass (unless he buys a MKB). Illusions are also a problem in the sense that they can dispel his ulti and make it really hard to re-target it.
