System Restore feature has been in Windows for decades. In 2020 it's still useful for recovering quickly when a new program or hardware driver causes instability and system crash, like bsod.
The System Restore feature works by creating snapshots called restore points, those keep backup copies of your system configuration, including registry settings, drivers, and programs.
