Build AP for Key Lumina Skills: The fight revolves around generating enough Action Points (AP) to unleash powerful Lumina abilities. Prioritize AP management to stay offensive.
Cast Wildfire (Lune): Inflict Burn to exploit Sakapatate’s Fire weakness, dealing consistent damage over time. Pair with Critical Burn Pictos for bonus crit chance on burning foes.
Cast Shell (Gustave): Use SOS Shell to boost party defense, reducing damage from Sakapatate’s heavy hits like Shield Strike or Cannons.
Cast Rockslide (Lune): Break Sakapatate’s shield by filling its Break bar, exposing the weak point on its right shoulder. Follow up with Free Aim shots to destroy the arm and disable its shield-based attacks.
Perfect Parry Melee Attacks: Master the timing for Sakapatate’s Dead Partner combo (3-hit club attack). Parry the first two swings intuitively and jump the final low sweep when the icon flashes. Parrying earns AP and sets up devastating counterattacks.
Dodge Cannons & Electric Attacks: When Sakapatate fires its Cannons (triple burst), dodge or parry right after the gunfire sound. In phase two, dodge its slower Electric Ball attacks to avoid 45-90 damage per hit.
