How to Delete Corrupted Data on PS5 Console (Easy Tutorial)
Identify Corrupted Data:
From the main PS5 menu, go to "Settings."
Scroll down to "Storage" and select it.
Choose "Console Storage" to view the content stored on your PS5's internal storage.
Look for any items marked as "Corrupted Data." These might have a yellow triangle icon.
Delete Corrupted Data:
Highlight the corrupted data you want to delete.
Press the "Options" button on your controller.
Select "Delete" from the menu that appears.
Confirm the deletion when prompted.
Rebuild Database (Optional):
If you've encountered multiple instances of corrupted data or are experiencing other issues, you might consider rebuilding the database to improve system performance. To do this:
Turn off the PS5 completely.
Press and hold the power button until you hear a second beep (around 7 seconds) to boot into Safe Mode.
Connect a controller using a USB cable and select "Rebuild Database."
