How to Delete Current Advertising ID and Generate New One on Samsung Galaxy A54
Your advertising ID is a unique identifier that is used to track your online activity and show you targeted ads.
If you are concerned about your privacy, you can delete your advertising ID.
Deleting your advertising ID will not affect your ability to use apps or services, but it will reset your ad preferences and you may see fewer targeted ads.
And here’s how it’s done on the Galaxy A54:
First, open the Settings app then scroll down and tap on Privacy.
Scroll down the privacy settings, and select Ads from the bottom of the list.
On the succeeding window, tap Delete advertising ID.
Read the warning prompt, then tap Delete Advertising ID to confirm.
The advertising ID will then be deleted and apps can no longer use it to show you personalized ads.
To get a new Advertising ID, return to the main Ads menu then tap the option to Get new advertising ID.
Read the pop-up message then tap Confirm.
A new advertising ID will then be generated for your apps to use from now on.
And that’s how to delete the current advertising ID and generate a new one on your Galaxy A54.
