Have you ever wanted to make an awesome minigame in Minecraft but you cannot detect items in the player's inventory? Well, in this video I show how to easily detect items in the inventory, equipped armor pieces, and even items in the player's hand using command blocks.

Commands:
/effect @p[hasitem={item=diamond_helmet, location=slot.armor.head}] speed 1 2 true
/give @p[r=3] diamond_sword
/effect @p[hasitem={item=heart_of_the_sea, location=slot.weapon.mainhand}] speed 1 2 true
/clear @p heart_of_the_sea 0 0
