How to Disable Enhancing Linking in Microsoft Edge Chromium
3Enhanced Linking or Enhanced Copy Paste is where you copy/paste a link and instead of just showing the link itself it will be the title of the page with the text hyperlinked. This can be easier for people to see where the link is going to and get some sense on what the link is, but there could be many reasons why you would still prefer to copy/paste the link itself instead of copying and pasting the link title.
To selectively only paste the link URL when you copy and paste a link in Edge you can just right click and say Paste as Plain Text. To turn off enhanced linking in Edge Chromium go into settings and search for Share and then change URL copy & paste format default from "Link" to "Plain Text"
