By now it is known that the C8 generation of the Chevrolet Corvette only features a dual clutch transmission (DCT). It is an 8-speed transmission with the ability to go automatic or the opportunity to select your own gears. It features a Park, Neutral, Drive, and Manual buttons for gear selection, but what you might not know is the secret way to disengage the clutches and gear much like a manual transmission.

As the video shows, to disengage the clutches pull back on both the down paddle and up paddles. The gear indicator will disappear and you can freely rev the vehicle, much like in neutral, but as you can see in the video it is definitely not the neutral gear as neutral displays a "N" on the dash.
