Ankylosaurus "Bumpy" is a character from the animated series "Jurassic World Camp Cretaceous." Bumpy is a young Ankylosaurus, a herbivorous dinosaur known for its heavily armored body and club-like tail. In the show, Bumpy becomes friends with the group of young campers who are stranded on the island, and helps them navigate the dangers of the dinosaur-filled wilderness.
Ankylosaurs were among the last and largest of the armored dinosaurs, with a thick bony armor covering their bodies, and bony clubs or spikes on their tails used for defense against predators. They were herbivores, and likely used their wide, flat teeth to grind up tough plant material. Ankylosaurus lived during the Late Cretaceous period, around 66-68 million years ago, in what is now western North America.
Bumpy, as a young Ankylosaurus, is depicted in the show as playful and curious, but also capable of defending herself with her club-like tail when threatened. Her relationship with the campers is a central plot point in the show, and her loyalty and bravery endear her to the viewers.
