Nasutoceratops was a herbivorous dinosaur that starred in the new movie Jurassic World Dominion. If you play games, be sure to check out Jurassic World Evolution 2.
Nasutoceratops, also known as "big-nosed horned face", is a genus of herbivorous ceratopsian dinosaur that lived during the Late Cretaceous period, about 76-75 million years ago. It was first discovered in 2006 in Utah, USA, and was formally described in 2013.
Nasutoceratops was a medium-sized ceratopsian, measuring up to about 5 meters (16 feet) in length and weighing around 1.5 tonnes. It had a distinctive large, curved horn on its nose, which was likely used for display purposes rather than defense. It also had two smaller horns above its eyes and a frill with elaborate patterns and ornamentation.
Despite its impressive appearance, Nasutoceratops was likely preyed upon by larger carnivorous dinosaurs such as tyrannosaurs. Its diet consisted mainly of low-growing plants such as ferns, cycads, and conifers.
