If every point in your shape has an even amount of connections, then you can start from any point and end on that same point. This is called an Euler circuit.

You can still draw a shape in one stroke even if the shape has two points with an odd number of connections, but then you have to start and end on the two odd connections. This is called an Euler Path.

But if you have a shape with more than 2 odd numbered connections, it is impossible to draw that shape in one stroke.
