How to draw Tigress from Kung Fu Panda 3
*Don't forget to vote for the next Kung Fu Panda character that I should show how to draw! *
For those of you in search for a tutorial on how to draw master Tigress...welcome!!! I really tried to make this tutorial as comprehensive as possible, kind of like my "How to draw Po from Kung Fu Panda 3" video, more so actually, thus the longer running time of 22 minutes.
You'll probably notice that my tutorial is quite different from the other tutorials on "how to draw Tigress" out there in terms of the shape used for the head, well the reason is that I want to think differently and actually contribute to the overall art "discussion". Instead of drawing an oval shape for the head I drew a trapezoid with the golden ratio.
I believe that there isn't one perfect way to draw anyone or anything, instead there's always one more way to do it and thus, as a result, there 's an endless loop. We are also different people with different mentalities who could look at an object in a whole variety of different ways, e.g., the color, shape, beauty... Regardless if you're drawing simplistic cartoons or realistic faces you need to break these into geometric shapes...at least if you're aiming at precision and accuracy!
The reason for such an excessive use of the color red is quite symbolic, according to a few sites that I checked out about the meaning of colors in the Chinese culture read means fire, luck and celebration.
I hope this video helped you! Feel free to comment and rate! If you'd like to be updated on my future videos here on YouTube be sure to subscribe!
