Commander Beetle is an optional but challenging miniboss in Chapter 4 of Black Myth: Wukong. Found training a group of Sword Daoists in a courtyard, this fight won’t be easy because his minions keep respawning until he’s taken out. But with the right strategy, you can make quick work of both the Daoists and the Commander himself.
Start by taking out the Commander Beetle’s Sword Daoists using the Pluck of Many spell. These enemies keep respawning until the Commander is down, so clearing them quickly is key. Once it's just you and the Commander, watch out for his powerful sword slams that send shockwaves across the ground. Use your dodging skills to avoid these and his ranged slicing waves. When he uses his sword as a shield, resist attacking, as he’ll counter with a quick strike. Wait for him to drop his guard, then strike hard. Don’t be fooled if he falls to the ground—he’ll often follow up with a spinning kick that can catch you off guard. Stay alert, keep dodging, and you’ll defeat him.
