Switch Between Dark and Light Mode. You now have the option to switch between dark and light mode. Ensure that you have the latest version, learn more about updating your mobile device to newest version of the LinkedIn mobile app. LinkedIn said dark mode, through color and contrast, is meant to cut down on eye strain and help people who are sensitive to light. The company says the new design makes the text easier to read. Dark mode, used in low-light conditions, could also help save battery life.

To switch to either dark or light mode:
1. Tap your profile picture, then tap Settings.
2. Tap Account preferences tab.
3. Tap Dark mode under Display.
4. From here you can select:
# Device settings: The LinkedIn mobile app settings will be similar to the device setting/theme.
# Dark mode: To switch to dark mode.
# Light mode: To switch to light mode (selected, by default).

Your changes will be saved automatically.


Important: This feature is being gradually rolled out and might not be available in all regions.
