Steps:
- Open up the settings app and scroll down to the bottom.
- Tap on ‘about phone’
- On the next page tap on ‘software information’
- You then need to tap on ‘build number’ four or five times.
- You will see a popup saying ‘you are now 4 steps away from being a developer’ keep tapping until it counts down to zero.
- You may now have to enter your phone’s pin.
- Now you need to close and re-open the settings, scroll down to the bottom of settings and you will see there is now a new setting that wasn’t there before called ‘developer options’
- Tap on it and you can see there are now lots of settings that were previously unavailable.
- If you ever want to turn developer settings off again you can simply tap the toggle to the right of on at the top of the developer options.
- The setting will then disappear from your settings again.
