How to Enter Map & Island Codes in Fortnite (FAST!)
4In this video, I'll be showing you how to enter map and island codes in Fortnite. You can enter the island codes by heading to the game lobby and switching to the Magnifying Glass icon at the top. This can be access on controller by pressing the L1 or left bumper button.
From here you can enter the Fortnite map code into the search box. This will automatically find the game associated with the island code. When you search the game will come up, allowing you to select it and play.
Alternatively, you can also search for the island names to find the Fortnite map you want to play.
When entering the island codes on PC you can copy and paste them in to save time, or simply type them in with your keyboard. However, if you're trying to enter map codes on PS4, PS5, or Xbox then you will need to use the on screen keyboard to do so.
Once you have entered the map code you will need to search. On console you will need to press the option or menu button to begin the search. If you've entered the island code on PC then pressing the Enter key will work.
