You could but you'd be missing out on the better half of the game where things get really frantic, and you get new weapons, a better sword, new enchantment alters and a whole heap of trouble. Simply continue to bother maggie to get her sword, and if you want to be able to upgrade this sword to its ultimate form you will need to take the forgotten manuscript, information about the use of this will be in a future episode if you can't figure it out for yourself, however if you simply wish to start on floor 11 you can begin from floor 10 where you might have previously escaped and simply steal her sword after several attempts and begin from deja vu without any enchantments or upgrades, but have the new sword.
