How to Find Applications on LG TV (Youtube & Netflix)
I notice your previous questions were about a PS4 console, but this one is about an LG TV. Since I don’t have context on your specific LG TV model or its operating system (e.g., webOS version), I’ll provide a general guide to find applications on an LG Smart TV, which should work across most recent models.
Turn on your LG TV and press the Home button on your remote, the one with a house icon, to open the home screen. Look for the LG Content Store tile in the row of options—it’s your main hub for apps, often shown as a shopping bag or labeled clearly. Press X or the OK button to select it. Inside the LG Content Store, scroll to the Apps category at the top or in the sidebar and press X to enter it.
You’ll see a list of available applications—use the arrow keys to browse through featured, popular, or free apps. If you’re looking for something specific, move to the search icon, usually a magnifying glass in the top right, press X, and type the app name using the on-screen keyboard, then select Search to find it.
Once you spot an app you want, highlight it and press X to see details or download it. If it’s not pre-installed, select Install to add it to your TV. After installation, the app will appear on your home screen for easy access next time.
If your LG TV is older or uses NetCast instead of webOS, the process is similar—press Home, find the LG Store or Premium section, and browse or search for apps there. Let me know your TV model if you need more tailored steps!
