You'll see many video tutorials referring to the DayZ "Game Files" but these files are not included in the copy of DayZ stored normally on your PC's Hard Drive - you'll need to install DayZ Tools from Steam, and then follow this video tutorial to see how to do it.
The DayZ Game Files have become particularly interesting recently to Console Modders, who know have access to a json file to mod the toxic gas clouds and areas - and within the game files are names of textures that we can use instead of the default ones....
