Navigate to iPad Settings app and tap General after Touch About. Look down the page; you'll see a section entitled Model. The longer number that ends with "A" is your iPad's SKU number and gives information about its capacity and the country it's registered in.
Tap on the Model section, and you'll get a shorter number that begins with "A", that's your model number.
