In Nancy Drew: The Secret of Shadow Ranch, Nancy must investigate the damaged pump house. Call the Sheriff and ask for permission, since he put the no trespassing sign up. Step inside and notice the corroded pipe, then look to your left. Open up the grate and crawl through the tunnel. In the room at the other end, you’ll meet Dave. He has a clue from Francis – the back side of the torn pocket watch picture. On the back it says, “stairs to cellar.” If you remember the other half of the picture from Francis’s pocket watch, the finished message reads “Green bottle under stairs to cellar.”

After Dave leaves, check the steps from the tunnel you were just in.

Slide the pieces just enough to release the “FH” piece by one notch.
