In Nancy Drew: The Secret of Shadow Ranch, Dirk Valentine’s clue from the piano says “Take your forks and a crank to the Beady Eyes Ranch, And make sure you see what’s below. When you stick the forks in and give it a spin, Off towards my treasure you’ll go.”

You can earn the tuning forks from Mary Yazzie and find the crank at the bank’s boardwalk. If you look at your phone’s web search feature, you can learn about ranch branding. Look around the ghost town for the symbol for BD eyes ranch (it’s located at the Sheriff's building).

Lift the boards under the BD eyes symbol to find the music box.

Take the box to Cappy’s and place the box on the counter where the matching outline is found. Place the crank in the box, then get out the tuning forks. Spell out Frances’s name using the forks, then turn the crank.

You’ll know you did it correctly when a terrible sound emits from the box and breaks the nearby lamp, revealing the next clue.
