In Nancy Drew: Shadow at the Water’s Edge, Nancy’s room (where you will need to go every night to change the alarm clock to the next day at 7:00pm) is room 24 on the second floor. Miwako gives you your room key when you greet her.

Back up from the lobby desk and rotate away towards the left. Enter the hallway by the fire pit and climb the stairs up to the second floor. Click your mouse three times forward and one click to the right to face the door with the sign that indicates #24. Use your room key to unlock the door.

When you step inside a few steps, turn around to find your closest to the right of the exit. Open your suitcase to find the Fasca cheetah pass for using the subway/trains and pick up the Japanese/English phrasebook (translating dictionary).
