How To Fix a Loose Output Jack On An Acoustic Guitar Explained In 60 Seconds Quickfix #shorts
54Many of you know maybe how annoying it is, when the output jack of your acoustic guitar is loose. I found a simple method to fix it quick.
The Output Jack has got a nut inside your guitar and outside where you plug your cable in. You have to tighten first the inside nut and then outside nut.
1. Look for a stick which fits very tight in your output jack it should be thick like you guitarcable.
2. Put the stick like in the video inside your output jack, remember it should fit very tight, because you have to move your output jack inside your guitar with it!
3. Take the Nuts outside off
4. Push your output jack inside the guitar, the stick has to be tight fitting to move the output jack inside
5. Put your hand through your guitarhole and tight the nut inside on your output jack in direction to your guitarwall.
This will make the part shorter which comes out of the guitar , when you pull it back trough the hole
6. Take your nuts outside on again and you will see, wheter it was enough.
7. If there is still space between your nut outside and your guitarwall, put your output jack inside again and tighten the nut again a little bit, until its perfect
8. Now your output jack should be fine again
