How to Fix Chrome Installer Failed to Start Problem
Second potential solution (if one in video did not work for you)
HKEY LOCAL MACHINE - SOFTWARE - WOW6432NODE and delete the Google file that's there. Mine would NOT work until I did this. Plus, the files in two of the three places would not delete with Windows in normal mode. To delete the Google registry files, you have to enter safe mode, typically F8 during boot to start in SAFE MODE. Once in SAFE MODE was I able to delete all the files. Must do it from ALL THREE places... User, local... and WOW.
