When using an external hard drive in windows 10 or 11 it will create a separate tab in file explorer thus duplicating the drive that was already in this pc, to fix this all you have to do is change the reg key in the path below:

Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Desktop\NameSpace\DelegateFolders\{F5FB2C77-0E2F-4A16-A381-3E560C68BC83}
