Strange method to fix this issue. Elgato says to reinstall the deck, which I did 30 times and it didn't work. Then others say they reinstalled OBS, which I wasn't going to do (and it didn't work for them either). They'll say you need to have both softwares newest update (which of course you already have). Elgato didn't return my emails. I scoured reddit and found nothing. Ridiculous a company like this has an error that affects so many people and renders a piece of premium gear like this absolutely useless.


🔴 DISCLAIMER BEFORE YOU BEGIN

Do not have two versions of OBS. I have stream elements OBS (OBS LIVE) and OBS. when you click run as administrator, it automatically opens streamelements OBS whenever you want to go into regular OBS. Only have regular OBS studio.


🔴 THE METHOD (by senagokyildiz)

1. Right click OBS studio shortcut
2. Open file location
3. right click obs64.exe
4. compatibility tab
5. run as administrator
that's it!
