So if you’re one of the iPhone users who are currently experiencing issues with HBO Max, here are the things you can do.

First, swipe up from the bottom of the screen and stop in the middle to view apps you recently used.
Swipe up on each app preview to close them.
After doing that, launch HBO Max again and it should work properly.

If not, then you have to reinstall the app.

Hold on the HBO Max icon until the options show.
Tap Remove App, and then Delete App.
Lastly, tap Delete to confirm you want to remove it.
After that, launch the App Store and then search for HBO Max.
Download the app and wait until it’s re-installed.

Once successfully installed, open it and it should work properly.
