How To Fix Invalid IMEI of Huawei Y600
177This video of mine will give you hints on how to troubleshoot and root your Huawei Y600 Ascend that has "Invalid IMEI".
All you need to do is;
1. Take a piece of paper and write your IMEI on it, or have it written on your computer Notepad.
2. Root your device.
3. Install Engineering Mode shortcut app, grant root access, and do some command on it.
1. Download and install Engineering Mode MTK apk, this Android app has a shortcut icon to get us into Engineering Mode. Check the link below.
2. Once install, open the app and grant root access.
3. Go to CONNECTIVITY, RADIO INFORMATION then CDS INFORMATION.
4. Phone 1 is the IMEI 1 or SIM 1.
5. Tap PHONE 1 then type AT +EGMR=1,7,"IMEI_NUM_HERE"
You should place the IMEI inside quotation marks ("xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx")
For example, AT +EGMR=1,7,"352330064784692"
Tap the Send Command button.
Restart the phone.
Check IMEI by dialing *#06#, IMEI should be restored and your phone has now ability to get signal from your network!
