How to fix problems with Windows sound settings changing devices
56Have you had this problem where Windows keeps switching sound settings and selecting a different audio devices without asking you? Rude. Well, here's a fix I've found that works nicely.
I use a lot of different audio devices and because I'm regularly testing a lot of headsets and mics I end up with lots of software and hardware on my system, so it's annoying when it keeps switching. You might only have one headset, but maybe your device keeps trying to use your mic or monitor or speaker instead of your headset. This can be a real pain.
Go into sound settings and you can make a couple of changes to sort issues so it doesn't keep trying to switch sources and being a pain.
