How to Fix “Running Scripts Is Disabled on This System” in Powershell on Windows 10.

Powershell is a task automation and management framework that has been developed and published by Microsoft. It consists of a command-line shell and an associated language. Users can execute numerous cmdlets in the program. However, quite recently, a lot of reports have been coming in where users are unable to run a script and the “Running Script is Disabled on this System” or the “execution of scripts is disabled on this system” error shows up in the Powershell.

If you know how to write simple PowerShell or Batch scripts, you can automate quite a few things on Windows 10. In fact, even if you have to spend a little time writing the perfect script for something, the time saved once it’s good to go will be worth the time you spent writing it. That said, scripts can be dangerous which is when you try to run scripts in PowerShell, you get a rather long error message that essentially tells you “running scripts is disabled on this system”.

If you're trying to run a PowerShell script and get an error that says 'Powershell Cannot Be Loaded Because Running Scripts Is Disabled on This System' then you'll be glad to know this is a really simple fix.

If PowerShell throws up an error message – File cannot be loaded because running scripts is disabled on this system, then you need to enable script running on your Windows 10 computer. The cause of this error comes to the fact that your user account does not have enough permissions to execute that script. This does not mean that you need to have an Administrator level permissions, it also means that you also need to be unrestricted to run these type of PowerShell scripts or cmdlets

This tutorial will apply for computers, laptops, desktops, and tablets running the Windows 10 operating system (Home, Professional, Enterprise, Education) from all supported hardware manufactures, like Dell, HP, Acer, Asus, Toshiba,Lenovo, and Samsung).
