Step 1) Avoid using reshade
Step 2) Disable XMP in system BIOS, enable it once done playing the game
Step 3) Run the game as an administrator from the game installation folder
Step 4) Allow the game to Antivirus program and Windows Security
Step 5) Increase the Virtual Memory:
View Advanced system settings
Initial Size: 1.5 x Total Ram
Maximum Size: 3 X Total Ram
Step 6) Install Visual C++ Files https://docs.microsoft.com/en-US/cpp/windows/latest-supported-vc-redist?view=msvc-160
Step 7) Disable Steam Overlay, close all the overlay apps (Discord, GeForce Experience, Nvidia shadow play overlay, AMD overlay), close all the overclocking application MSI Afterburner/Rivatuner, perform clean boot
Step 8) Try -dx12 /-dx11 in launch options
Step 9) Rename SonsOfTheForest save folder, this will create a new save file and the game will start from scratch.
Step 10) Delete the save game files (This will result in loss of game progress)
Step 11) Do a clean installation of graphics driver

Step 13) Unplug hotas, wheel, pedals, mouse, Razer Tartarus, disconnect all the additional USB adapter connected to PC, disconnect additional joystick/controllers connected, disconnect multiple monitors,Turn off Razer Synapse (razor lighting effects) and MSI Dragon Center, corsair software, end nahimic services & lightingservice.exe in task manager, close Firefox/chrome browser and third-party app, remove the undervolt
Step 14) Update your Windows
Step 15) Update System BIOS
Step 16) Try Windowed mode, set DLSS to Quality and lower down graphics settings
Step 17) Uninstall the game, delete the game files, restart your PC and reinstall the game to C Drive/Another SSD
