Step 1) Restart PC
Step 2) Change Steam input to default/Disable Steam Input
Step 3) PS Controller users: Try using DS4windows/reWASD application
Step 4) Disable Steam Input, now go to Steam Controller Settings and enable Steam Input for Xbox/PlayStation Controllers- restart the game
Step 5) Make sure to disconnect other peripherals such as mouse/keyboard, additional joystick, controllers. Unplug Razer Tartarus, Unplug VR/Windows Mixed Reality Headsets, disconnect all the additional USB adapter connected to PC, disconnect if you have any virtual controller connected (Vjoy etc.), disable/uninstall them
Step 6) Launch Steam in big picture mode and then launch the game.
Step 7) Use wired controller
