Just a small tutorial on how you can easily fix sticky analog sticks on an xbox one controller. This method should similarly work for PS4 as well.
You will need:
- Metal tweezers to open side panels
- Torx T8 Screwdriver
- Q-tip dipped in water or rubbing alcohol
- Broken Controller
- Compressed Air, if available
You want to open up the controller, take off the analog sticks, and clean any of the physical parts getting rid of any dirt. However, if there is a larger problem, such as physical damage or wiring, you will not be able to fix it.
Keep in mind, this is mostly a temporary fix, and the problem may persist in a few months, as the controller undergoes fatigue after prolonged use.
