In this video, I will show you How to Fix Controller/Gamepad Not Working On PC .

Steps in this video :
Step 1) Enable/Disable Steam input & then restart the game
Step 2) Use Wired connection
Step 3) PlayStation Controller enable it in sound control panel (Use wired connection)
Step 4) PlayStation Controller users Use DS4 Windows
Step 5) Update Controller using PlayStation Accessories app/Xbox Accessories App (Connect controller using USB cable)
Step 6) Launch Steam in big picture mode
Step 7) Disconnect all the additional USB adapter connected to PC, unplug keyboard, disconnect additional joystick/controllers connected, disconnect arcade stick, disconnect multiple monitors, if you have any virtual controller (Vjoy etc.), disable/uninstall them.
