Steps:
- Plug your USB device into your mac.
- Then from the home screen of your mac click ‘go’ from the top left menu.
- Choose ‘utilities’ from the dropdown menu.
- In utilities click on ‘disk utility’.
- Click ‘erase’ in the top right of the window.
- Choose which format you would like your USB to be in.
- Then click ‘erase’.
- Click ‘done’ your USB has now been formatted.
