Hello all,

In today's video we will talk about how to get into Beta for Laurion's Song. Everquest's 30th Expansion.

Step 1: Pre-order any version of the expansion:
https://www.everquest.com/laurions-song

Step 2: Download Beta patcher:
https://www.everquest.com/news/eq-beta-how-to-participate

Step 3: On your live server character you want to be transferred over type /beta. Please allow 24 hours. They typically ratch in the morning.

Step 4: Copying over UI files for your character. You will want to go into the everquest directory and search for every config file with your characters name. In the video I show there should be 6 config files. 4 are for advance loot. The other 2 files are the most important UI_(yourname)_yourerver and (Yourname)_(Server). In addition to these files you also will want eqclient.ini

You will want to copy these 7 files to a separate folder to be renamed.
**IMPORTANT: DO NOT Cut/Paste these files out of your live server folder!!!!!

Once you have a copy of the files you will want to rename your server name to beta
So for example mine would be Zarax_beta (as seen in video)

No name change needed for eqclient file.

Make sure you do not have your toon loaded in beta.. cause if its online it will write over some files.

Now open everquest beta folder and copy or click and drag all files into it. Once thats done your character should mimic exactly how it was in live server.
