In today's video we will be talking about the Tear of Alaris and why it is the best time to evolve it if you haven't done so.
The Tear of Alaris was introduced during the VoA expansion as a time synch when players have completed stuff. This is one of the few items that fit in ammo slot that actually add some benefit. This item evolves up 20 levels, final level can be converted into a type 3 aug.

Skill Mod: Defense +5% (10 Max)
Attack: +20 HP Regen +10 Mana Regeneration: +10 Clairvoyance: +20 Spell Damage: +20 Heal Amount: +20
The way this evolved when it was current was by killing alaran. Since we out levelled voa expansion the only way to evolve the tear is by clicking Fragment of Legendary Alaran History
The only way to obtain fragments now is to either shroud down to 100, or quest in shards landing or pillars.

No lock out timer so can repeat it as often/fast as you can.
As seen on this video, i set up couple mages to speed the process. Can do this in a group or raid as long as each person wants updates the quest. Kill counts will be credited to everyone.
Even without bonus this is probably the best way in my opinion.
