How to Game share your Library on STEAM to Another Account or PC (Settings Tutorial)
To share your Steam game library with another account or PC, follow these steps:
Enable Steam Guard Security:
Make sure you have Steam Guard security enabled. You can do this by going to Steam- Settings- Account in the Steam Client.
Enable Family Library Sharing:
In the Steam client, click on Steam - Settings.
On the left panel, select Family.
On the right panel, check the “Authorize Library Sharing on This Computer” checkbox.
Authorize Specific Computers and Users:
Now you need to authorize specific computers and users to share your library.
Go to Settings - Family (or in Big Picture mode, Settings - Family Library Sharing).
Add the accounts you want to share with by checking the corresponding boxes.
Request Access:
If you want to play games from someone else’s library, send them a request to authorize you.
Once authorized, their library of Steam games becomes available for you to access, download, and play.
Limitations:
Keep in mind that:
You can authorize up to 10 devices at a time.
Up to 5 accounts can use your game library on any of your authorized computers.
Shared games are only available on devices that have been authorized by the account holder.
Some games may be unavailable for sharing due to technical limitations (e.g., games requiring third-party keys or subscriptions).
A shared library can only be accessed by one user at a time.
